I tried to setup a Snikket instance myself few days ago. I could not manage to connect with Gajim, probably because I setup the entire stack behind HAProxy and using my own \"Nomad with Podman\" setup. It still felt very much like \"you should set this up on a single server dedicated to that purpose (XMPP)\" to me. I will for sure retry the XMPP experience, but probably with a bit less features (simple prosody setup on VM or bare metal, chat only)..",
