Thanks to a highly aggressive battery preservation battery policy, removing some unnecessary permission to an app that doesn't have urgency reasons to send real time notifications, I reached an excellent trade-off with battery consumption and connected relays. Currently 19 on my mobile, with a negligible battery drain.
