Hm, I agree that the reference protein and the sample don’t match, but they weren’t supposed to according to the figure legend. The reference sample does not contain the transmembrane domain of the drug substance and is lighter, which the blot confirms. That’s pretty much all you can take away from this. That and the expressed protein contains the same epitope that the reference sample contains for detection (despite different molecular weights)
