Having the time to play golf is the result of low time preference. Building a life that affords you the time to golf is a great goal.
Personally I much prefer a hike to golf, actual nature, gets the blood moving and no need to pretend you doing a sport while your enjoying it.
Golf Course is a good place to run in the evenings after golfers are gone.
