Star Wars has a lot of reasonably undistorted cosmology baked into it.
Jedi derives from djedi which was a real sect of Egyptian warrior monks who understood how to cultivate Qi(chi), use it for healing, and even to manipulate physical matter. The Force is essentially the aether. Michelson-Morley was wrong.
Seth, the Egyptian god of chaos, gives us Sith.
The positively polarized Jedi are oriented towards enlightenment and service to others. They are numerous, have many students, and they come from all walks of life, as do Ascended Masters come from all cultures on Earth.
The negatively polarized Sith, being oriented towards power, conquest, and service to the self, limit their numbers to just one Sith Lord and one Sith apprentice. This demonstrates their selfish desire to keep power for themselves. The only reason to teach anyone is selfish: legacy.
The D that was chopped off of the Jedi eliminates the Egyptian serpent hieroglyph. That hieroglyph translates to "dj", which sounds like a serpent and is intended to be an onomatopoeia like the letter Teth in Hebrew/Phoenician which is essentially like our letter T. Teth also means, among other things, serpent, and when pronounced, sounds like a serpent.
Note, the "dj" noise is how light sabers sound when activated.
Also note that the "Death Star", the big weapon of the negatively polarized "dark side", was constructed in the orbit of "Geonosis" which is a clear homage to "Gnosis".
There's a lot more baked into this symbolism than what I've presented here in this already lengthy note, but if you are curious to learn more, the final hour of the youtube video linked in my NOSTR profile has all that articulated.
My guess is that there's some good stuff baked into Star Trek but I haven't mined that looking for such Easter Eggs yet.
