Amazing to scroll down and see exactly what I was thinking. Bonus points if it's along a river in the city for all the reflections and juxtaposition of the natural power of a river and the human busy-ness of the surrounding city.

I usually prefer natural environments but in that case all the lights work in its favor. The other great spot for night walks is anywhere on sand without lots of obstacles, as long as you've got some astronomically supplied light.
