Streets of Rage 4 is growing more on me after going back and playing Remake. It isn't as complex but some of the things it does differently are very solid. Aerial recoveries and simpler crowd control are among them although you feel very limited in what you can do with each character (as was in the old games). These games could be a bit more interesting if they incorporated more fighting game combos into your moveset or at least took advantage of a running mechanic like the old TMNT beat 'em ups did. Hyperstone Heist is still my all-time favorite even after being on top for over 3 decades but this game is great.
