I have been playing with FreeBSD inside kvm on fedora 40 with virt-manager. It has been nice, and definitely when you’re starting out coming from linux it’s something you want to do. I remember my first FreeBSD install I locked myself out because I didn’t add wheel to my account. I didn’t realize that unlike linux in which wheel is kind of just a suggestion anyone can do su that FreeBSD did not treat it the same. I think one of my biggest gripes right now is trying to figure out FreeBSD’s pw equivalents to common commands such as usermod -aG",
