We’re seeing the splintering of walled garden internet. We have 3 protocols; ActivityPub, AT and Nostr. Folks can choose what they want and need from the internet.
Some want safe spaces, others pure anarchy and it’s great. Pick the protocols that suit. Ideally folks will understand we all have different needs.
Threads and BlueSky are corporate entities. Choose your platforms wisely.
Personally I like ActivityPub (minus Threads) and Nostr. However, so far I can’t have a full complement of Phil Collins emojis on Nostr which is kind of an issue still. :smokyphil:
