To be clear I am not mocking christianity in general, at least not in this post. I am saying prosperity doctrine and the people who preach it are disgusting scammers.
Let me meet you on your terms here, the bible.
First off the bible repeatedly mentions a tenth as the standard of giving, which should be to your local church.
Second, quoting Jesus himself... "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." I don't know a single prosperity doctrine preacher who isn't using the money they're given to buy mansions and fly around in private jets. Osteen even turned away the needy from his property after a hurricane, not very Christ like by any bible I've read.
Third, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" yet these people put themselves between you and god and demand you sacrifice to them instead.
Fourth their promise is that your "gift" will be returned to you and then some by god. Which means your real motivation is the impure love of money and personal gain in the earthly realm.
You don't owe these scammers 1 penny, 1 sat, or 1 fart in a fucking gale force wind. They have weaponized your faith against you for their own personal enrichment. The Jesus of the bible would be trashing their churches like he flipped the tables of the money lenders at the temple.

quoting nevent1q…4pxuSo now there is a Whitehouse Faith Office again. So much for separation of church and state.
As if it wasn't clear enough that the entire purpose of this administration is scamming the less fortunate, the head of the new faith office is a prosperity doctrine televangelist. The scummiest grifter possible of any organized religion that has a single follower in America.
