Unless that person takes a conscious effort to view it as symbol as subservient to language rather than language as subservient to symbol (which is how our brains work unless we specifically go out of our way to alter it.) I don't think black person vs coloured person vs person of colour vs African American changes how anyone views black people either. At the very most it's empty social signaling.",
