Seemingly credible individual[s] and actual evidence are of course completely different things. The more out there the claims are the better evidence they require to be rationally believed. Why do you "have no doubt some crafts are controlled by telepathy"? Why not an alien or government psyop in play instead mixed with "I want to believe"? If a person is hallucinating / having sort of a waking lucid dream then they can often take control of the phenomenon.
