I think I learned a hard lesson yesterday. A black teenager girl pocketed my money at an amusement park. I paid half cash and had card. She did not add the cash to the total. I believe she stole from me. I don't think it was a mistake. I was even polite to her when I came back an hour later to the front desk. I spoke kindly to her. I did not accuse her. I just asked did you make a mistake? Well she and the other POC teenagers mocked me for trying to get back my money back.
I did nothing to these teens. I even politely asked one of the boys to stop mocking me. I work very hard for my money, and if there was mistake, I want my cash back.
Anyway they were mostly little assholes until I threatened to call corporate. I literally had to go "Karen" on these rude THIEFS to get my money, which was STOLEN, btw.
If it was mistake on her part, why did she mock me, why was she so difficult when I asked for clarification, and for someone to check the cameras?
I am 100% still calling corporate despite the teenage assistant manager apologizing, and calling the manager. If she stole from me, she will steal from other mothers and families. She will steal from your business.
I don't think I am gonna blindly support black businesses and black charities anymore. I have been treated horribly by my own race, and it's very stupid to assume the best of them simply because we have the same skin color.
Most people are complete assholes regardless of race. I'm not gonna fall for that support black women and support black businesses nonsense just because black anymore.
If your business and film is good, I will go there, I will see it. Your race will no longer influence my support.
