It's a crazy system. The US owns the world reserve currency, so they can extract money from the rest of the world through printing. Then they send a part of this money back to countries as 'support' or 'charity', but it's obviously just a bribe to control the leaders of those countries. In other words, the US doesn't only print money, they print power too.

If you understand this it makes sense that they aren't really interested in helping people in need. What's the bribe on US soil? What is in it for them? Stop thinking the government is there to help you, they are there to help themselves! If they help you to pretend.
