I think the costume plays a huge role... i memba Vee, Sargn's romanian fluffer boy, admitting to being a furry and saying furries are usually people who are shy and timid outside of their fur suit. So when they put on their fur suit, they can do all the things they can't without it... so to them it's not like they fucked the animal or kid... the big bad wolf did it...
Also i think that it's just a small line to cross which is the consensus of society which is: Don't rape, Don't fuck animals, Don't fuck kids (and it used to be don't fuck other men). When you crossed this line there is no shame anymore... Look the arabs, who fuck donkeys and goats... they also have no problem raping girls and little boys in toddler age...
