Modern kids had it really rough, too, because the black parents would climb into whiteville. So you have a huge culture push to worship blacks, and they send their half-breeds to go be one of 5 black kids in an 80% white school. Kind of hard for it NOT to go to their heads when all the gullible white kids are worshipping them.
(Though it was always good to see that the girls didn’t actually date them. They would hang out and do stuff as groups, but whenever the kids thought they’d finally get a white GF she’d admit she didn’t like him “like that”. So it was a very odd sort of arm’s-length, fake friendship they got everywhere.
I’ve known some cool-ish black guys, too, I’ve just gotten to know that they don’t reciprocate the same level of colorblind goodwill we do. No matter what, they put their allegiance on their team, just like everyone but the whites.
