Yeah, Coracle got rid of the ability for signing in with keys directly for user safety. The dev found a vulnerability a while ago that could have exposed many users' keys and decided that is too high a risk, so he restricted login to using signer apps only.
I haven't used Snort in quite some time. It was getting really slow and buggy for me, so I avoid it.
Nostrudel is definitely a power-user focused client. Not one that I would recommend for someone looking for a good UX. hzrd149 (nprofile…tyk0) uses the client as his playground to try stuff out, and it definitely feels that way. You also have to set up the relays the client is using in order for your notes to show up. It reads from whatever relays you tell it to, regardless of what relays you may have set up in other clients. It saves that list of relays in your browser's cache, so any time you clear your cache you will need to tell Nostrudel which relays to use again.
I don't think I have ever logged into Primal with my keys directly... I have always used Alby or Nos2x to log in.
I am not familiar with Nostrr. What's the URL for that one?
