I became a Mom later in life. It’s not something at which I intrinsically excel. However, I many friends who have stepped up to help me. They invited my children to their homes to craft, cook and play. They sewed costumes, hiked trails and let them play with their pets. They knew I needed a break sometimes and helped me so much. These women are smart, funny, educated and loving. I trust their ability to choose wisely when voting. After all, it takes a village.
