IMHO an "atheist" who is proselytizing is absolutely doing it wrong. They are very much maintaining relationship to religion as an antagonist. A true atheist leaves religion behind completely: their former belief system (if they had one - I didn't as a second generation atheist) and anyone else's. If you still care what others believe you aren't an atheist yet.
