I’m not sure why all of a sudden there is an influx of trying to shame people to vote. I’ve received some hand written post cards letting me know that my vote is public record and if I don’t do it then my family will know.

Then I’ve had two friends approach me with some shaming and guilt tripping regarding voting. It’s quite disheartening and in most situations like this I would just abstain to stick it to them.

This is not the way to encourage people.
