In some ways the world hasn't felt real since Ma died. In others, it's been like walking through a surreal dream since she first went on oxygen and I made my way over to California.

All this feels like a continuation of that dream. Just unreal event after unreal event. A world that isn't quite right, from the personal to the global.

But it doesn't serve anyone to disassociate from it all. It's easy but it doesn't help. The only way forward is to connect with it. Face it. Move through. Onwards.
