I like my Garmin. Privacy doesn't seems same as phone or better. What annoys me is that you can only use Garmin pay and Garmin appstore. You can write apps for it but some features, including NFC, are locked. A open source wearable with NFC I would buy in a second. And then be turning it into a bolt card for lightning payments.
