I'm seeing it now on #Mastodon v4.3.0 of the web client, while in the "Advanced Interface."
It's not under the normal account preferences (where I first searched for it) but in your "Notifications" column.
Click the little settings cog there and you can turn it on under the "Experimental Features" area.
