But this is a great example of why "self-driving" vehicles like these are such a false solution. They're only as good as their algorithms. Situations that exceed guidelines means we end up sharing our streets with a multi-ton conveyance that is driving amok. We should be focusing on making neighborhoods more walkable, bikeable and transit accessible.
