I understand that the elevation axis is the weak spot with satellite trilateration. but in my experience it's usually about twice the horizontal EPE. I've never seen a GPS off in elevation by 300' unless something was seriously amiss, like bad multipath interference or barely getting satellites in a slot canyon or something... Can you provide a source for this information???
