A horrifying dispatch from Israel that may be among the documents future historians will cite to establish collective guilt: Polls show that the vast majority of ordinary Israelis actively support the slaughter in Gaza and oppose food & medical aid for civilians; a bumper sticker says "Finish them"; a popular song calls for Gaza to be "erased."
Even before Oct. 7, most Israelis were, at best, conveniently indifferent to Palestinian suffering caused by their government:
