My wife's parents are in rough shape, one a broken arm, the other hip surgery. We're trying to be helpful but my FIL (broken arm) is driving her nuts, constantly changing instructions. She gets off the phone just now and says "My parents aren't going to bow out gracefully like your parents."
My parents went quick, 1 heart attack and 2 quick cancers. The comment wasn't malicious but economical.
We, my wife and I need to get into better shape... 😔
