Sapiens đź“™

When I listening through the chapter about who we as species have evolved our writing and cataloging something starts to sound familiar.
There’s an example about how to people that can’t agree on if the land was rented out or sold to the other and they have to go to a “library” an get this check out on clay tables.
Here they can sort it out by visiting a central place.
But some problems come to mind when I think about it:

This central place can get destroyed.

They place can alter they clay tablets.

So there takes trust in this place to keep it useful.
No way to verify.

And so on.

This is something that looks like a problem that Bitcoin fixes.

Are there already some ways that this is a reality.
If it’s bought the transaction would be in a block.
But can this transaction get connected to a contract?
If it’s on a renting lease, how would this work?

I’m familiar with smart contracts on other chains but how does it work on Bitcoin?
Or is it another solution that I not yet understand.

Do you recognise my thoughts and
what’s your take on this.
