There was a period in 2018-2019 when the stories in my head just stopped. I'm not sure when it started -- I had family obligations that precluded 2018 NaNoWriMo, but my lack of annoyance at that suggests the stories were at least fading by Nov. 2018.
I know exactly when it ended: watching the TV adaptation of Good Omens in May 2019 rebooted the storytelling part of my brain, like throwing a switch.
