If we as a society allow the 'wealthiest companies in history (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Meta, Amazon …)' to 'unilaterally seiz[e] the sum total of human knowledge that exists' (Naomi Klein) at all, they must, at the very least, lose any right to trade secret. And they cannot be granted unlimited freedom of business.
