I tend to get really upset when I think I've found a close friend and they drift away or start talking to me less. In some instances, they just ghost me.

I feel that NTs seem to just accept that friends drift apart or that friendships aren't a lifelong thing, but I have trouble with that. Also, I feel like it would be a waste of my time to foster friendships that are going to be temporary.
