once upon a time I took an art history course for a gen ed requirement and there was, naturally, a unit on religious art

they went into some detail about every major religion's art throughout history, except judaism, which got like one paragraph at the beginning of the unit. the course material just said ackshually the romans killed Jesus not the jews and the jews are like Christians who ignore the new testament

so now I'm left wondering what's up with jewish religious art and why didn't they want us to see it
