⚡️According to a release from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), CENTCOM’s commander Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla was in Syria today visiting U.S. military commanders, Defeat ISIS (D-ISIS) partners, and members of the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and received an assessment of ongoing D-ISIS operations and the situation in Syria post-Assad regime. 
Additionally, General Kurilla visited the al-Hol displaced persons camp in northeast Syria that houses over 40,000 people, many of whom have ties to ISIS.
