I think you did. and you still said that twitter needed to not collapse until a similar online chat was available. what did you expect would have happened if it had collapsed anyway? before the load could be taken elsewhere? nothing much, right?
actually twitter should have died many years before Musk took over, for it's unidirectional communication design that actively hinders discussion and for the pseudo public sphere it created for politicians and journalists.
