I was on a camping trip to France when I came across the Château de Loches. We were just passing through but managed a short walk around the town, just as it was getting dark.
Both Henry II and Richard the Lionheart stayed here during the C12th, and the origins of the castle lay back in the C9th. I never did get to look inside though...
