One of my first memories of Halloween was Trick or Treating back east, in Ohio. Neighbors were far and few between; sometimes a driveway could be a half a mile long; my cousins and I were dropped off near a house that was well lit...while walking with our bags, masks and costumes up to the door, a screaming gurgling noise freaked the hell out of us....something was chasing us from the woodpile with an axe...it was horrible!!!!
In retrospect, was it?
