I've checked out the web clients recommended on nostr.com/clients. The following is a critical review of them; I do not mean to attack any and appreciate all the work put into them.
#Coracle is my choice so far as it's the only web client with a tag/topic aggregated view. However, it has limited topics to choose from, preventing me to follow tags like #web, #dev, etc. Its UI is my least favorite.
#Iris has a better UI and I would choose it over Coracle if it could fetch any of my posts/notes. Thanks for the free NIP-05 URL, though.
#Snort doesn't seem to handle profile settings separately, which is odd since it supports NIP-02.
#Primal looks great, but I don't even know how to log in, lol. As far as I understand, there isn't one and I'm supposed to deploy my own site with my private key.
None of the ones I checked out provide blocking users or tags and lack many features that #Amethyst has.
Again, the developers have done amazing work on these clients. This post would be way too long if I were to go over the praises I'd give each of them. And, of course, there may be better alternatives I'm unaware of. I would be happy to try more clients.
