I've known about Jack from before his Bitcoin enlightenment, I've seen him speak about light at Bulletproof conference, in a fully packed side room.
My problem with his ideas is that he rarely mentions amplitude of the effects.
We have limited time on this planet, there are infinite number of things that have some effect, but unless you can compare the interventions and their effects (weighted by cost), you can't make good decisions. Kruse-ists say whatever they are interested in is the most important things and their justification is "nature does not make mistakes" (which would qualify many other interventions too) and "centralized medicine sucks" (true, but that's not good enough).
I do near infrared light therapy just in case they're right (I do meditation anyway, so sitting in front of the panel does not cost me any extra time). I try to not be exposed to junk light. But in my experience the effect is much lower than they claim and there are interventions which have more positive effects that they discount.
The biggest disappointment though has been his BTC Prague (nprofile…py4c) talk. It was probably the most boring talk I've heard in a decade. He read some preamble of some health law for El Salvador, which was basically as boring as you can imagine. I literally got nothing from it, which is sad, because there was an opportunity to teach bitcoiners something that could be useful for them and he has many great ideas. He's not a very good messenger though, so I hope someone will translate his wisdom and do some proper amplitude comparison with wider biohacking.
