Ok, I had a conversation with friends not long ago about how people might see colors differently (remember the white&gold / blue&black dress?). So I'm watching the Oscars pre-show, and there are audio captions describing what everyone is wearing. They just said Lupita Nyong'o's dress was periwinkle blue. I thought periwinkle blue was kind of a pale blue-violet. Her dress was aqua. No violet whatsoever. Does anyone else see the colors differently from how they're being described?

Edit: The same thing happened last year. For example (among several), they said one dress was chartreuse. I always thought chartreuse was yellow with a greenish tinge. The dress was buttercup yellow to me. No green whatsoever.
