I was reminded of this Disney cartoon of Sergei Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" this morning. It's on YouTube, and it's narrated by David Bowie! I was so young when I watched it that I had no idea. I do remember being fascinated by the idea that instruments could represent characters, like the clarinet for the cat.
The video is about 15 minutes long, so coffee break length.
