I'm so sorry. My ex-wife and I had a cat who passed away from cancer some years back.
I see a statue of the Buddha in your picture. As it so happens, I concocted some sort of Buddhist funeral for our girl.
About a year and a half ago, I wrote a poem about her passing and funeral. I've just republished it on my blog (link below). Yes, the tears have come back once again as I was republishing this poem.
