So many human interactions are intermediated by money and the constant need to be 'productive'. The idea of being productive is fine, but in a system where value creation is funnelled through a currency being devalued, so much productive and creative energy is being wasted and not only that, most people's imperative becomes 'I need to make money'. Fortunately there are signs and evidence of this changing and the world is healing.
Even though I'm all for innovation and technology, I think there has never been a better time to be involved in sustainable farming, permaculture and natural construction (rammed earth for example). These are some of the most valuable contributions to society especially in this day and age.
I recently discovered a movement called #solarpunk thanks to Rabble (nprofile…5kd8) and breedlove22 (nprofile…pmhl) , very keen to explore this more
