For those who don’t know, John moved to El Salvador before the gangs were put behind bars. His first students had to choose between attending Mi Primer Bitcoin or the gangs’ “school” in a way.
This was my first time in the place that started it all. It was a reminder of just how badass his mission is.
They’ve recently trained over 500 teachers to bring Bitcoin education into classrooms across the country.
They’ve managed to teach to over 40,000 students.
