Agreed, small devices with a total small amount of waste, most likely we have larger waste related problems.. Although there are many type of inhalers, some has more or less waste in them (plastic or metal, gases, etc). Also it would be great to see what's happening with drugs and medical devices really, in a documented way, after used.
The pharma industry is a heavily regulated one, I believe it would be easier to force them to think and care about the their related waste than within the food industry.
