They all have a version of the Golden Rule for a reason.

Seeing from the other person’s perspective, vicariously, is the single best way to figure out how to show a person love. That’s the Golden Rule.

You don’t want to be treated as “not you”. You want to be treated in ways that are tailored to you, that fit you, that are loving to you.

Treat others as THEY wish to be treated (within the bounds of wisdom) and you will be practicing the Golden Rule.
