The 4th of July is a special anniversary for me. On this day two years ago, I injected full beam current into the National Synchrotron Light Source II and set it into top-up mode.
I was operating the accelerator remotely late at night, since my internship was during Covid precautions. Remotely, as in West/East Coast. 😂 Hence why the screenshot says July 5.
