Man why did I sleep on the Earthsea series for so much of my life. It's so good. I've gotten through:
- A Wizard of Earthsea
- The Tombs of Atuan
- The Farthest Shore
- Tehanu
and
- almost all of Tales from Earthsea
with The Other Wind still to go

My feeling is: in tolkien or c. s. lewis people go on adventures; in Earthsea people live.
