We've got lots to talk about now, and times are very bad. But we shouldn't let ourselves fall completely into despair, darkness, and recrimination, and that includes what we do here on Mastodon. People still need to smile and laugh, to see joy, kindness, and wonder where it can be found. Humans are built to laugh and cry at the same time, and we should, especially now. It's what keeps us going. Find balance. Be part of it.
