My two new dahlias are on the courier for delivery, but I'm refusing to plant them until I know what's happening with the snow forecasted tomorrow and Friday for Dunedin.

Thursday's forecast: Snow showers to 500 metres from evening.

Friday's forecast: Mostly cloudy, with showers, easing in the evening. Snow to low levels.

The snow may not actually settle, but it may make it cold enough for us to get frosts.
