It seems there is a dependency of the BitTorrent tracker on the ZIM storage backend for the hash whitelist. 😢 It's also difficult for users to get torrent files or magnet links without download.kiwix.org, as this runs the MirrorBrain software that provides the information. We don't appear to have a separately maintained list of torrents. We're looking into it! In the meantime, it looks like downloading files directly from a mirror is the only current backup...
